MY INTERESTS

I’ve got quite a few interests outside of rugby. I’m a big fan of water sports, especially surf-kayaking. I've been hooked since I first tried it down in West Cork many years ago. It's tough to find to the time to get out but I go as often as I can. 

I also enjoy playing a bit of golf. Since my shoulder reconstructions I’ve had to ease off on it, but when the weather’s good I like to head out for a few rounds with my friends. I’m not going to be turning pro anytime soon, but its good craic all the same!

Like a lot of guys my age, I love cars. I'm fortunate to have a great relationship with Audi Cork who provide me with a top of the range Audi on an annual basis. I also have an old 4 x 4 that I mess around in at home. I’m also a big dog lover. During my time off, I love taking my dogs out into the countryside in the jeep or bringing them down to the sea with me when I’m kayaking.
